Terms & Conditions
These terms supersede all previous agreements and are for online, telephone or mail order retail sales only. Online prices offered may differ from those available at our stores and customers will not be allowed to order online, by mail or telephone and then collect them at our stores. Trade sales are subject to our usual Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Disclaimer
SWI do not accept liability for damages or injuries sufferred through misuse of products purchased, either by the customers themselves or 3rd parties.
Payment Terms
SWI accept money/postal orders, registered cash, banker's draf or cheques (please allow 7 working days for clearance).
Goods
Weaons, whether wooden or metal, are not sold to under 18. SWI will require proof of age which must be produced via email.
The weapons sold are either for decorative or for light practises only and should not be used for combat or sparring purposes, including applying undue pressure, which result in either damges or breakages.
SWI cannot warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose, and customers should check specifications and compatibility with SWI before ordering. Goods are not sold on a trial basis and all goods are offered for sale subject to being unsold at time of purchase.
Fair wear and tear. Non-durable Products will inevitably have a shorter lifespan, as compared with more durable products such as leather products.
All goods remain the property of SWI until paid for in full.
All refunds other than goods incorrectly sent, will have cost of all postage and packing deducted.
7. All descriptions and prices are correct at time of publishing. SW-Intl reserve the right to change, amend and withdraw specifications on products, prices and colour without notice. All weights and dimensions are approximate and may vary.
Despatch of Goods
Subject to stock availability, SWI usually despatches within three days of receipt of order. Payment is only taken from a Credit Card when goods are available for despatch, either for a full amount or a partial amount for part delivery.
Customers are required to inspect the package/s before signing the delivery note. Any sign of damage, or tampering of the package/s must be clearly stated on the drivers delivery note. Shortages must be notified within forty hours of receipt of goods, All claims must be made in writing or by email.
Return postage is borne by the customer, unless the wrong item/s have been delivered. Please ensure returns are sent by recorded delivery or other provable delivery. We cannot honour lost returns. You are responsible for ensuring safe delivery of the returned item.
Returns Policy
Customers who buy by distance means, as defined by the Distance Selling Act 2000, have the right to cancel the order within seven working days from the day after receipt of the goods.
In the event of a cancellation as stipulated above, SWI will refund the full amount of the order including cost of delivery, but not the cost of return of the good, which will be borne by the customer
In the event of a replacement of a faulty goods, cancellation rights under the DSRs will run for seven working days from the day after the customer receives the replacement goods.
The customer must take reasonable care to ensure that the returned goods are not damaged in transit. If the customer does not exercise reasonable care and the goods are damaged, SWI may claim against the customer for breach of this duty. If a customer fails to return the goods despite being required so, SWI reserve the right to claim against the customer for breach of contract.
A refund will be made within 30 days after the cancellation of the order.
Customers are required to notify us within 24 hours of any shortages or damages to their deliveries. Claims outside this timescale will be rejected. Any customer requesting goods to be left in a safe place accepts full liability and cost of goods and no claim can be made to SWI for missing or partially delivered items.
Where parcels are delivered by courier, if the outer packaging is visibly damaged, the customer is requested to sign for the goods stating that the parcel was damaged. This will not affect customers statutory rights to a reasonable opportunity to examine the goods contained. Claims may be rejected if the customer signs for the goods in good condition.
Investigation of missing or delayed parcels will be pursued through normal channels before compensation is considered. SWI aim to resolve postal issues as soon as possible.
Refusal of goods at the time of delivery will result in full postal charges being incurred by the customer. This includes sending back to source, except where the 7 day cooling off period is applicable.
If a card has been left at a delivery premises, failure to act upon the card will result in a re-delivery charge (where applicable). Please note that courier charges may be applicable where customers require goods to be re-directed to an alternate address or where a further delivery attempt has to be made by the courier when the customer has been unavailable to accept the goods.
Cottons and Leathers are natural products, resulting in designs and colour schemes varying due to the manufacture and/or dye process of some items from time to time.
Where an item is to be returned where the customer is not at fault, postage reimbursement is limited to £10.00 in respect of the returned parcel, however please contact us to arrange a suitable solution first.
Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, SWI will always offer a refund, exchange, credit note or repair service where goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for their purpose or have been mis-described.
The customer has no right to exchange or refund in respect of Videos, Books, DVD's or CD's unless defective, not fit for its purpose or not as described. Any exchange will be for an identical title to be negotiated with the customer.
Custom, special or sale items will not be accepted for refunds or exchanges under any circumstances, unless faulty
Goods are subject to availability. We reserve the right to alter specifications and/or products without notification.
The title in all goods will remain the property of SWI until such time as payment is received in full
Prices are subject to alteration without prior notice; however customers will be informed of any changes to product prices, before they are charged. If in the event the customer is dissatisfied with the price, the customer has the right to cancel.
Back ordered goods will be despatched as soon as possible and will not incur additional carriage charges.

Privacy Policy
The only information stored about our customers is the name, address, e-mail, and telephone numbers and used for general information purposes.
Our customer information is not passed onto any third parties and kept safe within the company and only accessed by allocated individuals. SWI is fully compliant with the Data Protection Act, 1998.

Credit Card Details
After placing your order online your credit card details are passed forward to us so we may charge you for the goods. Before these details are sent, they are encrypted using a 128-bit Secure Server Licensed (SSL) encryption software. This information is then decoded once it gets to us ensuring a secure and efficient service to our customers.

SWI collates personal information during site registration and may use such information for editorial or feedback purposes.
SWI reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions without prior notification.

The products and services displayed on this site is an offer subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions and represents the agreement in its entirety and supersedes any and all other communications, prior, contemporaneous or subsequent, any course of performance of course of dealing, except as modified by a written agreement signed by an authorised officer of the company or any subsequent revision of this posting.
